Man Punched Blind Relative After He Called His Name

A blind man was punched by his relative after he called the man by his real name, Bernard

On Wednesday, February 15th, 21-year-old Bernard Muscadin allegedly struck his blind relative after he complained of his drinking, smoking and called him by his given name of Bernard.

The incident occurred in Boca Raton, Florida, at 11:30 am, the police arrived at the scene and spotted the blind relative laying on the driveway with a swollen face. The police report stated that the blind man had an argument with Bernard where he criticized his late night drinking and smoking.

Violence erupted from Bernard after the blind relative called him by his given name, Bernard responded by saying “Don’t call me Bernard,”. Bernard began pushing his relative, bernard stated that the blind man hit him in the forehead so as a response Bernard punched the blind man multiple times in the face.

Bernard Muscadin was arrested and faces charges of battery and abuse of a disabled person, he spent a night in jail before being released. Bernard has been ordered not to have any violent contact with his blind relative.
