Man Robs Bank Hides In Kfc With Moneybag

A man tries to hide in a KFC after he robs a bag full of money from a bank

On Thursday, September 21st, 32-year-old Samuel Jevon Reaves stole $10,000 from a bank in Gainesville, Florida, he was later found hiding in a nearby KFC with a bag of money.

Samuel entered the bank and walked towards the teller and requested money, the teller asked samuel if he had a debit card, he responded, “This is a robbery. Give me all your money in the bank.”

The bank teller filled a bag with $10,000 and left the bank. Samuel headed towards Publix and walked across the parking lot, little did Samuel know that he was being followed by a staff member of the bank, the employee followed Samuel towards the KFC.

 Samuel took refuge in the KFC and sat next to a woman, who he asked for a cigarette, whilst holding a bag full of stolen money. The police found Samuel at the KFC with his bag of money, he admitted to the police that he had robbed a bank.

Samuel Jevon Reaves was arrested and charged with Robbery without firearm or weapon, he is being held at Alachua County Jail with a bond of $250,000.
