On Wednesday, January 17th, 28-year-old Douglas Jon Francisco was arrested for driving under the influence after he was found passed out at a drive-thru at a bank after mistaking it for a taco bell.

The bank in question was Bank of America at 7184 Mariner Blvd located in Spring Hill, Florida. Martin Claussen, the branch manager contacted the Hernando County Sheriff's Office after he spotted Douglas passed out in his blue Hyundai with the motor running at the bank's drive-thru.

Martin told the police that he tapped on the driver's side window for some time until the man regained consciousness. As Douglas woke he attempted to order a burrito from the manager but was sorely disappointed and confused when the manager informed him that he was not at a Taco Bell.

The arrest report revealed, Douglas, "made several statements that were differing with reality,". A field sobriety test was conducted and concluded that Francisco's movements were slow in a way that was consistent with someone on prescription narcotics. After a search Oxycodone and Xanax were found on his person on him, both drugs were prescribed.

Douglas Jon Francisco was arrested and charged with a DUI and held at Hernando County Jail with a $500 bond.
