
On Wednesday, January 24th, a man tried to rob a KFC, located in Wichita, Kansas but failed to do so after the store employee did not comply with his demands, possibly due to him wearing socks on his hands.
Officer Charley Davidson of the Wichita police department reported, The suspect entered the Kentucky Fried Chickne Restaurant located on 1251 South Woodlawn Boulevard at approximately 8:00pm. The man walked up to the cashier and demanded the 17-year-old female employee money from the register. The suspect at the time of the robbery, for an unknown reason, was wearing white socks on his hands. He failed to get the 17-year-old to comply with his demands as the store employee did not budge in handing over the money, the sock wearing robber fled the eatery, failing in his heist.
The suspect has been described as a 6-foot, 220-pound black man in his 30s wearing a dark green zip-up hoodie, dark pants and white socks on his hands. Anyone with information on the case is asked to call Crime Stoppers at 316-267-2111.
It has been undetermined f the socks which the suspect was wearing belonged to the suspect.
