
On Saturday, March 24th, 41-year-old Daniel Liska was allegedly embroiled in an incident of road rage, he has been accused of throwing a rock at a sports utility van after it made attempts of passing him on the motorway.
According to reports from the Monroe County Sheriff's Office's Deputy Timothy Oggeri, the incident occurred at 9 pm as Daniel from Cudjoe Key, Florida, was driving his white minivan on U.S. 1 near Mile Marker 20. The victims were in their SUV attempting to pass Daniel's minivan, Daniel began maneuvering his minivan in an effort to prevent the victims from going past him. Daniel the allegedly threw a rock out of the van that struck and broke window glass on the SUV, causing minor cuts and scratches to one of the three people inside the SUV.
Witnesses confirmed the incident by giving a similar account of the events that transpired.
Daniel Liska was charged with criminal mischief and shooting into or throwing deadly missiles into dwellings, public or private buildings, occupied or not occupied, vessels, aircraft, buses, railroad cars, streetcars or other vehicles.
