
On Thursday, May 3rd, Alex Garcia was arrested in Graves County, Kentucky, after he allegedly stole a farm tractor and lead the police on a short and slow speed chase.
At approximately 1:30 am, reports reveal from Graves County Sheriff's Office, the deputies were notified of a stolen farm tractor with no lights or slow moving emblem was traveling south on KY 303 near Pleasure Drive.
The police caught up to the slow-moving tractor and turned on their emergency lights, the vehicle did not stop, the chase was on. The vehicle kept going south for a few minutes, Garcia was told to turn off the engine but he explained that he did not know how to.A deputy got out of his vehicle and leapt on to the tractor, he told the suspect to stop the vehicle but he refused. The deputy managed to turn off the engine by finding the choke.
Alex was arrested, he told the police his name was Juan Carlos but jail staff revealed that he was Alex Garcia as he had been released from jail earlier
Alex Garcia was charged with endangerment of a police officer, evading police, failure to display slow-moving vehicle emblem, giving police officer false name and theft by unlawful taking over $500. He is currently being held in Graves County Jail on a $2500 bond.
